Here at The Oaty Goat we value our customers and any questions they may have. This page consists of frequently asked questions about our store. If you still can't find what you need drop us a message on our Contact Us page.
When are your opening times?
We are open everyday, however the times differ on the weekdays and weekends. The times are as follows:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm
Saturday 8am - 5pm
Sunday 9am - 4pm
Can customers reserve tables?
Unfortunately, we do not offer reservations at this time. Our tables are on a first come, first serve basis.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes! We are dog friendly (as long as they are well behaved) and we also sell pupachinos.. bonus!
Do you cater for allergies and dietary preferences?
Absolutely! We take pride in our range of sweet treats and savoury bites that include gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. Just let us know of any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate. Please be aware that, whilst we take the upmost care, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens due to the use of shared displays and kitchen equipment
Why are you called The Oaty Goat?
We are called The Oaty Goat because of the legend of the goat herder, Kaldi who discovered coffee. Kaldi lived in Ethiopia and noticed that after his goats ate a particular berry, they were unable to sleep at night. These berries were tossed into a fire, poured over hot water and thus, created the first cup of coffee. Oh, and the "oaty" part, that's because we sell a variety of alternative milks - pretty cool right?
